I have removed the front axle after it snapped in line with the centre bolt hole that fixes the axle to the channel in the frame. The center bolt is the issue. I have removed the lock nut at the front of the mower, but the head of the bolt abuts the steering shaft. How do I remove this bolt? I cant punch the bolt through as its back is against the steering shaft. Can post pics if required.

G'day Zenith,

I think we might need those photos pls. All Greenies have this setup but I've never had much to do with your particular model so am not familiar with what is in your way trying to get the bolt out in this case.

A few photos and we can look at working this one out.

Cheers,

I removed the steering crank, then I had access to the bolt. Thanks for getting back. All done. I continually marvel at how badly designed these mowers are.
