Guys,
My son has pulled the carby off and it won't run anymore. Starts OK but wont respond to the throttle setting. Have to continue pushing the prime pump to keep it running. Which side of the carby should be connected to the diaphragm thingy on the cylinder head and which side should be connected to the fan housing? Could this be the cause if they are back to front?
Lastly, I tried accessing the subscription area to get the manuals section but the link to Paypal did not work. Is there a problem?
Cheers, Mark

Big Fella, The tube on the outside cap goes to the fan housing and the other tube goes to the decompressor (Cylinder Head). As to the subscription area if you pressed the paypal dot it should go through. If you just pressed the continue button then you would have got the message "you did not choose a payment method". I have checked it and all works ok.

The tubes were the right way around. Any ideas on why the carby is not working?
Subscription worked Ok this time. How do you access the manuals?

Big Fella, You will need to check the white cover with the primer in it that it is horizontal with the carby. As to the access it normally takes a few minutes to activate. You then look in this area and click Lawnmower parts list and manuals, then look for the Victa manuals as there is quite a few brands and we are updating all the time as request come thru. If you need additional information to be uploaded just post in the forum and we will do our best to get it uploaded for you.

Bruce, The alignment on the carby cover is good. Checked that.
Regarding access to manuals. I can't find the link to click on the Parts and Manuals. Where is this located?

Bruce,
Eventually found the link to the Manuals (I think). Started at the bottom of the page "SPARE PARTS". Then to another page with some instructions, then found a list of manuals. Clicked on the "Victa Information" option and got an access denied message.
Have I done something wrong?

Big Fela You should have all the information you need as it is a workshop manual but if you don't understand anything you can either post a question on the forum or use the chatroom as I try to be online most nights between 8pm and 8.30pm. Also a few other members are online at that time that might be able to help as well.
