Very 1950s looking, especially with that white steering wheel. Never seen dual tyres on a sit on mower.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Very well done there gml that is just a first class job you have there, top shelf. Really something to be proud of. As a restorer of rotary mowers I know how much hard work and long hours go into restoring mowers and yours are a lot bigger than mine.So I can appreciate the workmanship that has gone into it.Your attention to detail is also first class. Well done and keep up the awesome work.
Here for a good time, not a long time.

G'day all gml, absolutely stunning. It's always the detail that sets apart top-end jobs. Congratulations from me too! --------------------- Jack ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2017/05/full-7392-34228-1968_10_smh_19october_p7.jpg)

Morning again all,
Jack, Is that ad a Trove find? If so you've got better search skills than I! I'd be interested in a date on that ad. The significance is that it looks to be the same model as geenhorn's mates one over on the other thread. Significantly:
Round front decal RHS axle pivot bracket (it think. Blurry B&W photo) One piece transmission cover.
Cheers,

It was just hard slog and a lucky find. The ad dates to 19/10/1968 and was taken from the Sydney Morning Herald. [right click on image and 'save image as' will give this info.] Cheers--------------- Jack

Is it just me or does the greenfield in Jacks ad have a different deck to yours GML? it almost looks like a sheet metal version.
