Now that's an idea might mask it up a little later and see what it looks like may paint the tank red then other wise might look a little weird with a white one

Mate that's just awesome it broke the red just nice.I'd run those stripes over the base as well.I reckon it would just make it pop. You've even got me thinking about doing something like that now.I might do something though with a VC-160 or VC-Mustang.Awesome work keep up the good work.

The cowl looks like a giant lolly ( looks good though) and Bumbly I think racing stripes wouldn't work on a hi arch mower, maybe on a steel decked model. You might be able to pull it off if done carefully, who knows. You could try Photoshop first.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

I was planning on the base too was just playing with ideas on the cowl it's fairly rough job so will sand it respray and add the same to the base at the same time.

The only thing is Mowerfreak I don't actually have a spare one yet,but I do have a vision in my head, and I think it would work.I mean, sorry I do have a spare VC-Mustang but I think a VC-160 would work better.I'll have a think on that but it has inspired me.

Why not paint a VC160 mkIII base in red along with the badge surround like that one you saw in my old line up shot? It looked awesome. Wish I hadn't sold mine.

OH awesome work there, although I did like the cowl with the strips in the middle.Maybe it just needs the Victa part on the base highlighted but I do like it so far good work.No no no very good work love it.Maybe some bling wheels it needs something special now,as Mowerfreak said.
