Hi Bruce.Nice changes to the board.Particularly the colour scheme.OK,now onto the business side of things regarding 'cone drives' for this type of unit. Have you had any luck thus far locating these? Would you recommend undoing the locking screw on the existing side discs to these bearings and moving them (the discs) inwards/ closer to the worn cone so as to pick up the slack? And if so, would you adjust one or both of these discs from each side? You make sense of all that? Good. Thanks from GgordonN

GgordonN,

Can you post some pictures (closeup) of the drive cones so that I might be of some help.

I would look at moving the disc inwards but you would have to be carefull. The pictures would help me direct you in the right direction.

Have not had any luck locating cones but another suggestion from one of your other post you mentioned that they had brake pad material on them. You could get the material redone by a brake pad specialist. cheers2

Hi,

I have been out of action for a good 10 years, but I am the designer and manufacturer of the Easymow ride on mower, first built in 1985,I do still make the cones for that machine, the early model had a 5/8th centre whilst the later models have 1" with a 1/4' keyway, the disks are both adjusted to within 1/8th or 3mm gap between cone and disk...if you disconnect the lever control link the belt configuration will pull neutral postion of the control arm cone assembly.....the disks should be adjusted to that....confused yet ???? I can send pics and diagram if nessasary......

PS My name is on the sticker...please diregard phone no...

Hello dairyfarmer

I sent an email to Colin's email address we had on file.
It could not be delivered - probably because his post is quite old now.

Any images would help on this - to record what an Easymow looked like.

Cheers
