It was a garage sale find, I offered $10 and he grabbed it.
Maybe I offered too much, but wheels axles and base are sturdy, good compression and good bearings top and bottom. He said it was going well 10 or 20 years ago........

Just got to hide it from the missus..........
Any info on it would be appreciated. Guess it's 160cc. metal carb, maybe 60's.
I'd like to get it going decoke repaint a nice bright light green.... and use it.

Engine is from a Pace Special 2. Engine would be 125cc and from about 1965. Good score for $10.

Yep, and the chassis is a circa 1980's Ute. A proper bitsa!

I put the exhaust in a fire to clean out carbon and oil, and the fire melted off the brazed on support, anyway I rigged some utilux rings for a quick fix.

I had to put a spare coil plate condenser and points in and got a spark. tried to set it at one eighth inch BFDC , maybe I am a bit off.
It ran shakey then settled down...... probably hasn't ran for a few years. I set the height adjuster high and ran over a spent garden.... it ran ok.
I should do a decoke clean up rings , I have spare 125 rings, try to set timing right. And if it runs OK, I'll paint it....... and it can be my main mower to mow my lawn.......

Sold $40. The guy was going to restore it ?
