Hi fellas, I have just acquired a yazoo ride-on. The original zero turn machine from the 1950's.The engine is a twin TJD model "Wisconsin". Does anybody know of a magneto re-builder? it's a Fairbanks-morse impulse mag, it's not frozen but requires a rebuild. Were they a popular machine? I think with that big slow reving engine it would have plenty of grunt. regards ray

Hi Ray, did you get the one off Ebay or Gumtree recently? Magneto men are getting few and far between, there is a couple up north but from what I have heard over the years you could buy a couple of Yazoos for the cost of repairing a mag. Best results I have had were with Paul Johnson in SA you can email him and see what he says. magneto88@bigpond.com
