I googled up this forum and joined...thank you.

I was hoping someone may be able to assist.

I have a Yardman 12.5HP 38" ride-on, and the deck is cactus.

I have been looking for ages for a second hand replacement, with no success.

I called in at a repair business, and the repairer had a mtd 42" deck that he said would fit.I bought that from him.

I removed the old, and fitted the other, but there are hassles.

The fittings all go together, but the right rear of the deck now hits the right rear wheel.

I am surmising the decks are not interchangeable.

Can anyone assist?
