Thanks guys, I did check that out my self and yes it appears to be the right part number...buying from the US through the link i posted gets it here for 39 bucks au...I would still like to pick something up cheaper than that if i could...thanks for your help, very informative , nice work

I tend to compare eBay pricing against an Australian supplier (where possible) along with consideration to the P&H costs and time frames. Quite often, I'll take the Aussie supplier, if for a little more cost, over an international supplier, due to possible return purposes and speed of local delivery.
I'd consider the A$39 against A$45, and for the extra $6, it's generally a mater of logistics.
If I was buying several units, then I'd take the international option as being cost effective.

Worth getting a price quote from the ODK Shop too, I'd say. Even if it's not a stock line. Even the Kiwis have these for cheap; http://www.sesdirect.co.nz/slinger-governor-oil/

I am all for supporting Australian sellers Bushy..and I am always happy to pay extra for an Australian made anything...but I get the feeling they have put a huge up mark on the part given you can buy it retail for around the 10 dollar mark overseas...I am looking at Amazon actually, I think i will make a list of other stuff i need and take advantage of the free postage.

You can't always support local sellers, I wanted a stator for my Honda a few years ago, Honda here wanted $550 for it, I got one from the States for $125 delivered
