This is a victa Pace which says 4 stroke on the chassis but has the typical 2 stroke powertorque engine on it. At the side of the mower ie the non-carburettor side is a gadget mounted to the chassis, it has 2 plastic cogs on it, I have no idea what it is, anyone know? The chassis has a large hole in it, apart from that it is fine.

That would be the bottom half of the starter motor (The engine was a keystart at some point in a previous life).
