Hello deviosi

That's amazing.
And a great resto too. I take it, no catcher...?

Cheers

p.s. I'll move your posts to a new topic, to record your Model 49 separately.

Awesome pictures there deviosi very well done love the fact that you have the original white air cleaner on it.Could I see some more pictures of that...please?
Also interesting note that yours has an extra cover that wraps around the back of the head and mine one doesn't.I've also noticed in the sales brochure that that one doesn't either. Is that a separate plate or is part of the fuel tank/cowl?
I wonder if that was an earlier or even a later model.

Blumby.... The victa collector
I have quite a few Scott Bonnars From a Model 22,35's (4 of those one with a catcher and one has a 4 stroke) Model 48 and 2 model 49's a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke, one catcher for them. So not sure where the Victa collector comes from.
So Victa and Scott Bonnar collector I'd say.

Yes this first 49 changed my plans and now the Scott Bonnar wormed it's way into my collection.Yes metal catchers as you know are very hard to find.I was going to talk to someone up here about making new ones, but I have successfully lost that phone number.Bugger.As I was going to get the model 35 catchers redone,I just don't know what I've done with that phone number.I guess the catchers are just as rare as the correct air filter housings.I certainly can't find one of those.

Oh wow the whole underside of the cowl/tank is different.I'll take some photos of mine tomorrow and show the different's,I'm curious to know why they'd be different. Thanks for the photo of the air cleaner don't think I'll ever find one myself.
