I was wondering if someone could tell me where I can obtain a downloadable copy of the Victa 80 Series Tilt-A-Cut Lawn Edger... I have just inherited one and it needs some serious work carried out on it to restore it back to it's original condition and working again...
Any help with this matter would be much appreciated and thanks for reading...Gazza56
I've only just joined and the information available has been amazing to read. I'm currently trying to access the Repair Maintenance Manual for a Victa Tilt-A-Cut Power Edger, the Model Number is CA901A6, but I'm having problems with accessing of this. Can you kindly advise. Many thanks, Sherrie
I've clicked on the Tilt-A-Cut Manual that you so kindly provided, and that link opened, but when I clicked on the actual Manual PDF File, the message read: You do not have access to download this attachment. Maybe there is a time frame on being a Member before I'll be able to access the Manual ?
Sorry it took a little while to reply to you, I didn't realise I had received a reply. Just learning about this Forum/Site as you can see. Kind regards, Sherrie
I'm sure Grumpy will be fine with this. My PDF Reader works fine, I'd never had a problem previously. I've just clicked on the link that you're so kindly attached and this link opens up perfectly.
CyberJack, may I ask about the other link that Grumpy had provided, when you click on that link as I mentioned it opens fine. Scrolling to the bottom of that page give another link which reads:
Attachments Victa Early Tilta Cut Edger.pdf (152 downloads) Description: Victa Old Edger
CyberJack, is this the same as your attached Link ? I'm trying to ascertain the size Belt that I need for my Victa Tilt-A-Cut Power Edger, the Model Number is CA901A6. Again, Thanks CyberJack. Kind regards, Sherrie
I've been in contact with www.outdoorking.com and I must say that their On-Line Chat gentleman and Service was wonderful, his name is Bill. Grumpy, you were spot on with the Model Number of the Belt that I needed for our Tilt-A-Cut Edger. Bill asked me to send a photo of our Edger, which I did, and he has confirmed the part. I've now ordered and paid for the Belt.
I hope you don't mind, but I have another question relating to the installation of this Belt as I'm hoping that you will be able to guide me with this, as I've never replaced the Belt. Yesterday for quite a long period of time (hours and hours) I had been on Google trying to find the answer to installing the belt, I never thought that finding this type of information would be so difficult. This morning, I found your Web Forum (how lucky am I !!) Thank you both, so much for all you have done at this stage, in helping me. Sherrie.
Hi Grumpy, Thanks again for helping me with my latest enquiry.
I wasn't able to download either of the links that you had so kindly sent, and then CyberJack sent a message and another Web Link which you'll recall, but the information on that link, didn't have this information, so this is the first time I've seen this.
Hey, thank you Grumpy! I'll be right now. Hope you and CyberJack have a great evening, gee "that weekend went quickly". Kindest regards to all. Sherrie
Hi Grumpy, I sincerely appreciate all the communication and wonderful assistance from this Forum. I know that without this Forum and the guidance, I wouldn't have been successful in achieving this outcome. Thanks so much for all the support. Kindest regards, Sherrie
Thanks for the kind words, Sherrie. I'll close this thread. If you have future questions about the Tilt-A-Cut or any other outdoor motorised equipment, please open a new thread.
