Can anyone help me identify and locate a grass catcher for the Alumninium base Victa shown on the attached photos.



(Note: The red fuel tank is not OEM - I added it to replace the shattered original plastic cowl/tank.

looks like it takes an older mustang/silver streak or vc160 type . but its a pace ? or parts thereof a thumblatch type of catcher seems to be
if your around ringwood ? a lot of older mower shops there , or usedto be a few years ago

I think I might have to disagree with my good friend vccomm there.
I'd say it's around the series 80's model and it certainly looks that way.I think your looking more for something pictured below.


As you can see the Corsair (Pictured Top) and the Monaro (Pictured Bottom) appear to have the same base style,apart from the front lines you'll find everything else is the same.So I believe you will be looking for these types of catchers.
Although this one would also most likely fit.

I'll try on the weekend and see if it does if you like.
Out of those 3 the one on the Monaro was more common,but the one on the Corsair is much better looking.

Yeah I think so long as it's an series 80 as it's defiantly a series 80 base.

Thanks gents - the thumb latch on the catcher looks like the mechanism that holds the catcher in place by attaching to the horizontal bar on the rear flap when it is raised.
...... I just have to find one now?

Yes they all have that bar to lock onto the catcher.
