Hi Rontrot and

to the outdoorking family.
It seems to be a VC-160 Mark II as I can tell by your picture.

That in the circle is the locking pin for the handle. Now only the Mark I and mark II had those pins like that. How do I know it's not a Mark I?
That's because it has the 2 pins for the connecting rod.In the picture below. The Mark I only had the one.

Ok sorry to say but there was no red VC-160's only green ones.I'd say that at some point somebody has painted it.I can also see that it appears the the cowl also has been painted as I can see where the paint is lifting.
It is cool though makes me wished I has a spare one to paint red.
There was one three versions of the VC-160 and three versions of the VC-125.
VC-160 Mark I,II & III Restoration If you look at this link you can see the three VC-160's I have been restoring, and here for the two VC-125's I have been restoring.
VC-125 Mark I & II Restoration It does look like it has at some point had a fuel tank replaced as it has the black tank, they were originally green. However the spare parts tanks were black.
There was no Mark IV of either of these mowers.
I'm not so sure as to where you can get new parts for them.I myself haven't started looking for them.I should as I also need parts for them. There could still be bits and pieces here in the store.I just haven't looked yet.
If you check my restoring pages you should find a lot of your questions answered there,ie cutting disc.Any other questions please ask.
It's good to see some else is keen on these mowers.
