Hi all, Im not sure what to do about this dodgy front sprocket on my Rover Colt. I cant seem to find a replacement online anywhere. The closest I have found is a ten tooth motorised bicycle sprocket, which I can probably work with - it will mean changing down to a 415H rather than the standard 420 chain, and bolting a 50 tooth bike sprocket on the other end, to make up the ratios, but I think I can make it work. Does anyone else have any experience or advice about what to do when your Colt runs out of front teeth?

Jon, these sprockets are available, if that's a Foote F-N-R gearbox with 1/2" OD shaft, as I suspect it is.

The ODK Shop has them HERE

Cheers,

Yep, that's the one. I didn't know the brand of gearbox, but now I do, so coolies. That will save me some work. And thanks for the attachment advice as well. smile
