G'day All, I'm new to the forum and am after some assistance with getting the correct model (year) for my recent project. I bought this Greenfield tractor 8 (?) to overhaul and use. It looks like it is in pretty good condition, aside from blowing a little smoke and receiving a different paintjob at some time in its life. The Briggs and Stratton 8 engine details are: model: 191702 type: 0672-02 code: 76120811 (see pics). Can someone put me on to a parts and operator manual for the Briggs and Stratton engine? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. - Don
Yep, that looks to be a Tractor-8 right enough, and with its original engine, as that Greenfield model series was 1970's.
The pull start only setup is correct for that chassis too, by the way. The leccy start variants had a battery box behind the steering column, and the cowlings were a bit different due to that.
Cheers, Gadge
