I have a Bolens ST140 hydro with an Eaton Hydrostatic transmission model 7. Does anyone know what fluid can be used ? Can I use automatic transmission fluid or hydraulic fluid ? I have been told I can use engine oil as long as it is about SAE 20 rating. Does this sound right ? I would like to find a fluid that is not a special, ie, I dont have to order and wait for for weeks.
