At the side of the gear box there is 2 little lugs or bolts.. at the seat end.. on the bottom and grease seems to be getting pushed out them. The gear box is tight and grinds and I feel I need a new one.
The rest of the machine is in great shape.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement gear box.. or if a gear box from another machine will fit.
Sounds like the gearbox is building up pressure and forcing grease out wherever it can.
Tried changing the oil recently? I don't know what type of gearbox yours is but most gearboxes that are well sealed, if you fill them up with too much grease or oil they hydraulic lock. Seen them snap shafts and shear gears this way!
