Hi guys, newbie here so go gentle please

I have just got hold of a Greenfield 15.5hp 32 inch Fast Cut, only has 65 hours on the clock and was rotting in a UK garden after being shipped over from Australia (it was originally sold in Coffs Harbour, NSW) so I will be rooting through the search box on here for info and spares and a manual etc

This Greenfield goes with my 1988 MTD Lawnflite 504 that has some subtle mods done to it, larger engine, wheels, disability engine cover & mudflaps.

Also I have an old Honda mower, plus a Briggs mower with a bent crank (still runs great) and some JCB garden power tools.

You will often find me working on mowers or old cars, or simply enjoying the countryside

Hi Iceman, welcome to Outdoorking. If you have time to search our archives, you will find quite a few threads on repairing and maintaining Greenfield ride-on mowers, and most likely some of them will be useful to you. I'm not familiar with your MTD machine at this point - that will be something new to our archives.

If you have questions or problems with your machines, please start a new thread in the appropriate forum, and we will try to help.

The Greenfield looks a tough old beast compared to my MTD, and easy to work on, it is just spares that I am concerned about, and cost of shipping to the UK! But will see how I get on!

From various members' experience so far the Greenfield people are not unhelpful, and have a normal range of spare parts available. Shipping cost may be more of an issue of course.

Your Greenfield looks to be in great condition for its age, as does your MTD Lawnflite 504.
