Hello. Never ridden any mover before. I'm french and we almost don't have grass there. i just got myself a greenfield 16-32 mk2 and 8-28 in poor condition. Plenty of info here. Thanks to the moderators and members for the precious infos. I will try my best to give them a second life. Sorry if my english is not that great.
Hi Jeromeo, welcome to Outdoorking. In my opinion your English is good, and more than satisfactory. This is not a literary forum in any case, but you have no reason to feel disadvantaged.
Please feel free to start threads at any time if you would like some help - there are many Greenfield owners and repairers here who have a lot of knowledge and experience.
Thanks grumpy. I already went through your excellent treads and got manuals for my 2 new babies. They both have non genuine engines (15.5hp B&S and 13hp kawasaki) And lot of issues. but i'm very happy and i will try to fix them. I will post pics.
I'll look forward to the pics. I'm guessing your 15.5 hp Briggs is an overhead valve model - either a Vanguard or an Intek. We need more case histories on those, so it should be interesting to watch your progress.
Hi Jeromeo, and a warm welcome to the forum. It's nice to have you aboard, as we all like to learn new things and tinker here. I am also looking forward to seeing pics of your new 'babies' and in case you are not familiar with our forum 'Inline Uploader', the instructions for use can be found HERE
Once again Jeromeo, to OutdoorKing.
Please do not PM me asking for support. Please post your questions in the appropriate forums, as the replies it may receive may help all members, not just the individual member. Kindest Regards, Darryl
Thanks guys for the welcome. Yes it's intek 15.5hp OHV . Start and run with no smoke or worries. Bumblebee. Few issues. Hard to take off on Hill. No hand brake. Cutting deck not disengaging. But I will open special thread for this ongoing work. Again thanks to everyone for this great forum.
I'll leave my comments for the repair threads, when you open them, Jeromeo. Those are decent mowers with decent engines, so hopefully you will be able to get really good results from tidying them up.
