I have a Peerless 3 speed transaxle with 2492-P1 on the aluminium casing and it has a tag with 601 019 on the top and 1134 6625 on the bottom. I need to replace one of the axle bearings and maybe doing a basic overhaul so i need a kit for it and would also like to get a manual or some instructions on how to overhaul it.

Peerless Transmissions (formerly part of the Tecumseh organisation but now owned by Husqvarna) has made many models of transmission over the years. Yours is called the 601 Series Slow Speed Transaxle, and there are workshop manuals for it available from various sources. One of these is the large (1462 page) compendium of Peerless workshop manuals, which is available for download from the ride-on mower part of the Outdoorking manuals section. This is a subscription area.
