Hi All
Would anyone be able to tell me if you can purchase a scarifying reel for SB45? I have 2x SB's and would like to restore both 1x normal and 1xscarifing
Any info would be tops!!!

Well the answer is yes, you can fit one to the SB Model 45, but the downside is you would have to have one made, to suit your purpose. They are not an after-market accessory.

Deviosi, a member of ODK had a grooming reel made for him, which is a light scarifier....Here's a pic:

Once a scarifier is fitted, you would have to remove the bedknife from the soleplate...and this is best done by the engineer who does your reel sharpening, as he has the correct tools for the job....if you attempt it yourself, you can crack the cast iron soleplate....many $$$ to replace!
