Hi guys saved this one from the scrap heap why it was even there beats me...Here are some pics of the clean up...I have myself a nice little trimmer for a few bucks I run a tank of fuel through it after cleanup and it runs great ,they are $300 new.....Cheers [Linked Image]

I got one similar a while back (fs38 I think...??) either way it was still full of fuel and the unit wasnt even dirty, a quick fiddle with the starter pawls and it runs perfect, I use it all the time.

Thanks came up good as new, Both the FS38 and FS45 are 27cc this one is grunty and has plenty of power for a little trimmer....Deejay Ive got a little Homelite as well got it from the tip few years ago,its still a good runner , crazy what people throw away.....[Linked Image]

Those Homelites used to be very popular here in the US, They were labeled "bandit" And sold in large numbers..

Homelite has nearly gone extinct now due to the insane pollution regulations the EPA Has been imposing..

Yep, good score and as you said, it's amazing what people throw out, I bought one of these new a few years ago and it was one of the best investments I have made, it goes when and where I want it to, once again congrats
