I got one similar a while back (fs38 I think...??) either way it was still full of fuel and the unit wasnt even dirty, a quick fiddle with the starter pawls and it runs perfect, I use it all the time.

Those Homelites used to be very popular here in the US, They were labeled "bandit" And sold in large numbers.. Homelite has nearly gone extinct now due to the insane pollution regulations the EPA Has been imposing.. Kori

Yep, good score and as you said, it's amazing what people throw out, I bought one of these new a few years ago and it was one of the best investments I have made, it goes when and where I want it to, once again
