I have a Scott Bonnar 590 17" cylinder mower with rear catcher.
The roller drive is partially seized and i can't figure out how to get the roller out of the chassis.
The right hand end is easy - 2 screws release the bearing. But the left end seems impossible. The drive pulley is welded onto it's shaft. It's a very good weld and was either manufactured that way - so how do you get it off!!??
Or it's a very good bodgey job done in the past, in which case I'm probably stuffed. Please don't tell me that is the case!
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Frank
