Thanks for replying so soon...you said that there would be a torx key in the center of the clutch drum...ive just checked and there doesnt seem to be one there...I just noticed that there is about 5mm of forward-back play on it Cheers James

James, The screw is hard to see. I think that it is a T20 Torx bit. If you don't undo the screw the clutch will not come off or if it is damaged you will have to cut the drum off.

I am trying to get the clutch off of my 327 also, none of my torx screwdrivers will fit inside the housing. I will try to buy a smaller one if you think it is a size 20???? Or could I just drill the head off and replace it with another screw? Thanks

Merry Christmas to all. I have the same problem when the trimmer is most needed!!! I thought that an Allen key would do the trick but inspecting the area more closely, the hole seems to be either very small or shallow!
What type of donation are we talking about Bruce to get to the parts list and manuals?

Andre, You need a Torx screw drive in order to get the clutch of and they say in the manual either a T25 or T27. As to the manuals area if you click PayPal donate button you will get access to the parts list and manuals area under questions on trimmers & brushcutter.
