Hey Found this one on Saturday was at a deceased estate and was in pieces the more i looked the more of it we found, put it together last night it ran for a few seconds till Crack ! seems we over looked the flywheel bolt being loose - wanted flywheel to suit. never seen one before on this base. according to the book its a 1964 corvette 4 v29.

[Censored] it must be the time for buggered flywheels.I have one on my Four-stroke (Model 7A) that broke when trying to get it off. After I take a picture of it I'll be looking for one as well. The only problem is there are two different flywheels. No I don't have this model unfortunately I would like one that's for sure.I only have the two stroke version.

I'm not sure it's with age, there just soooooo thin, and there isn't any bolt holes to put a pulley on.Which is how I usually do them. You just make sure you look after that mower as well.If not send it my way.I haven't been lucky enough to find one yet.I have the two stroke version.Just like the four stroke one they would look great sitting next to each other.Best of luck with your search I'm trying to find one as well.

hey guys got the corvette 4 going on the weekend thanks to bluegmhtmonaro supplying the flywheel , dismantled and gave it a tidy up resealed crank case and replaced lower seal runs a treat starts first go ,its in better condition mechanically after 40 years than a 3 year old mower these days are.

just wondering are these ones ment to have a tin cover over the carb and muffler like the earlier 4 star kirbys ?
also anyone with a spare original throttle control and cable im seeking one smile.
cheers, tomo
