Picked this one up in the hard rubbish.
Pretty good shape I think.

In pretty good shape. Have the covers in the catcher.
Missing a coupler off the drive shaft, can anyone tell me how or where to get one.

Cheers

Thanks heaps for the pics, thats what i thought was missing, well something like that.

I would say its meant to be rubber.

Just need to work out where to get one, if not im sure I could make something up.

Im just pretty impressed with the condition its in.
I dont imagine it would be very old, but it is pretty clean.
Need to work on getting it under cover.

I thought collecting rotary mowers took up some space, have a new appreciation for the dedication and room reel mowers take.

Mornin.

Thanks a bunch for the link, its book marked.
Think i will order one next week. Whats the easiset way to fit it, unbolt the motor and shift it a bit. Is that easier than pulling the clutch apart?

Any idea on the age Deejay?

Hi Bob, I will need some more info....Model number, name, engine serial number etc...in fact anything you find on the mower will help narrow it down and hopefully we will know when it was manufactured. wink

Having never have worked on this model ATCO before, I will hazard a guess....I would do as you suggested...unbolt the engine, slip it sideways and fit the coupling and re-secure the engine. Please let us know how you get on....
cheers2

Not happy Jan.
Its been semi weathered for like a month and the stickers have just about all peeled off.

Extra pics.
I didnt see any numbers on the frame, only the motor.
