with the "VICTA" fuel can, which way should you pour ???

ie, the popout spout has a 5/16 hole at right angles to the main outlet hole

so, i don't know what the purpose of the hole is and therefore don't know if it should be facing me or facing the mower tank when i'm pouring fuel

don't tell me i'm the only one ...

The spout should be at the highest point on the can, and the vent in the spout should face upward. This is to make it possible to pour from a full can without much mess.

Clean it up all nice and put it up on the shelf.

Get a nice plastic $12 one from bunnings with the reversable spout that lives under the cap.
