Hi Guys & Gals, I need some help in getting the right parts from here for my mower.

I'm looking to replace the starter O Ring, the float O Ring and the two O Rings (small & large) on the intake sleeve.

I have looked at the following pack:- 030113-5313 - Victa Late Model Carburettor Repair Kit = $24.92

But there is only two O Rings in that pack - One is the float O Ring and the other is one of the Intake Sleeve O Rings, I need the other Intake sleeve O Ring as well.

Can anyone tell me what part number I need to buy as well as the Carby Pack above?

Cheers

We have quite a few Victa gurus on this site and I am sure one will chime in here and give you good advice.
Once again Steve, :welcome:

sadly not a guru but I am sure one will show up smile

I could only find two in the shop on this page
https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/index.p...mp;sort=20a&filter_id=225&page=3

and I am assuming your talking about these
"O-Ring Inlet Manifold to Cylinder"
one suitable for Powertorque (larger) 030113-2886
https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/index.p...mp;cPath=193_514_225&products_id=597
(left side looking at page)
the other (smaller) does not 030113-540

The other is this I think you mean
Victa Powertorque O-Ring ST12629A
https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/index.p...mp;cPath=193_514_224&products_id=632
(I cant find any others)

Provided it a Powertorque engine you got...I suppose it is
(but I dont know for sure ...)
(thought thats the period when things changed from OZ to China somewhere there..so not sure what the go is...)

If a guru hasn't chimed in to help you
and you really need to know asap
ring or send the shop an email would be the best idea..

HTH anyway

Cheers smile

I'd provide a photo of my mower but I took it apart first. It's a alloy based Victa, purchased new at Ingleburn Mowers (in Sydney) and they don't sell cheap crap.

Thanks for all your help and welcome messages. I find it amazing that there is help out there freely given to anyone for just about anything that's needed these days..

I started & completed so many projects over the years with help from strangers, (just like you guys) and I have learnt so much and saved thousands of dollars as well..

Cheers

welcome smile wish I could have been of more help

seem there are some differences with the motors use on slashers
why I mentioned it

Sadly I dont think any are cheap these days
the bigger issue is quality I suppose you get for your hard earned money
(seem a lot are trading more on past reputation, not the product they produce today)

thats the toss up now for me ..get an el-cheapo 3 ~5 years it seems & be done with it & hope
(another reason I am not so keen to touch later models one on Ebay)
or spend up and hope it lasts for a decade or two with TLC

I dont mind spending money on Quality but that seems harder to find these days..with anything sadly..

Why if you got a good product
its with it to keep it flying if you can

Anyway Hope you get it sorted soon

Cheers smile

Well you could buy 5 old Victas for $100 and with less than $50 worth of parts you could probably get 3 of those old Victas going and that would do you for 30 years. (as long as we arent forced to use ethanol fuel)

You could do the same with an old Briggs or two. Trick with them is to just pull the head off straight away and check the bore.

That would probably see me out mate smile

thing is I dont drive so makes it hard to pick them up frown
curb side pickups here, well I think they are gone as quick as they appear..we do have second hand dealer in them so maybe he has a few spotters out & about...for a buck or two

thinking about seeing what his got thought at a price I like

lastly I've been told not to turn this place in to a Victa parts farm frown

But I love the idea Bob laugh

Cheers mate smile
