Hi fellas, there is plenty of talk here about these motors but no pics on identifying them. Before I trash the motor I have, silly question, how do I tell if it is a full crank motor? Does it mean that the big end doesn't screw off to release the con rod and piston??
I am taking my engine to a mechanic so they can assess the damage to see if I should spend the dosh for a rebuild.
I know I seem to have the earliest of the barrel cooling fins. I take it there are three types, the thicker close fins, the thicker spaced fins then the thin very spaced out fins which most here say are the Chinese donks?? I have the former.
