I own a self propelled Allen/Oxford Cythe with a Villiers engine.
It was manufactured by John Allen & Sons Oxford and displays "Engine Number
57037" on a brass plate but no model number.
(photo availabe).
The engine is in need of timing. I had a local garage look at it but I
cannot start it at all now.
I would appreciate any information you might have for timing the engine.
