Yesterday I purchased a S/H Fastcut 32 Std Greenfield with the 16.5 HP B & S Intek. The Mower had only 10.5 hours on it and came with the "Dozer Blade". The Salesman I bought it from was not on duty when I picked it up, there was no manual but i'll go back tomorrow and sort it out. The mower place I got it from are Husqvarna dealers and had traded this from an elderly Gent who upgraded to a rear catcher unit. He had also fitted a "hand" control to the forward reverse pedal. (now removed)
I had been looking for a while at all brands and saw some absoulute rubbish. Couldn't believe how hard it was to sort through the mine field. I think i've made a good purchase and paid $3K for it.
Justwondering if I can't get a manual from the owner can I get one from here or from Greenfield.
I'm keen to read up & get into good habits in maintaing my nw purchase.
Cheers to all Trev.
PS: how does the serial #'s relate to the Greenfields i.e. Model/year ? Mines 161192 (i think) I'll check tomorrow

Hi Trev and a warm welcome to the forum. It's good to have you aboard. I hope we may be able to help with any probs you have as we all love to learn new things and tinker here....
Trev, happy birthday for yesterday mate, I hope you had a great day. Once again,
Please do not PM me asking for support. Please post your questions in the appropriate forums, as the replies it may receive may help all members, not just the individual member. Kindest Regards, Darryl
Thanks guys, for welcome and B/Day wishes. I'll post some pic's as soon as i'm able. I used it for an hour last weekend an felt very comfortable using it compared to my old Victa 3012CXT. Which is destined for greener pastures (pardon the pun). I'm just doing an advert to put down at our local shop.
I had bought it S/H and it had just had a new B&S 12.5hp fitted. Electrics aren't all that good so have been hand starting . Cutting deck is a bit worse for wear have had it off and welded up holes, built up rods /re drilled to make them round etc. Put a new tension pully on the cutting belt but can't stop it throwing belts.
Question: Is the tension pully supposed to be horizontal to the belts or on an angle to allow for the lowering of the deck?
