Hi guys i recently purchased a brand new jd la125, everythings great with it except for a tiny query i have... above the rear right wheel is a drink holder and beside that is a small compartment for tools etc, now it seems to me that a hinged lid could fit on here as there are 2 holes where the lugs on a lid would fit, i asked the dealer i bought it from and he said there wasnt a lid for them just wondered if anyone knows different.. i also looked at all the others in the showroom and they were all lid less
thanx guys
regards
Kevin

Hi willowbrook, I have tried to get some info for you from the John Deere website.... the only reference I could find was listed as a "tool tray" which leads me to believe it may never had a lid...because if it did, it would be listed as a "toolbox"?? What do you think?
Best of luck with it,
cheers2

The small compartment is where you put the other 5 beers smile

On a serious note, it might be easy enough to adapt somehting to fit, just a matter of finding a plastic door the right size.

thanx for the replies guys, firstly Joe the other 5 beers go with the other 10 beers in the mobile esky (aka trailer) and Daryl on the cover of the JD homeowner range 2009 spring summer catalogue there is a woman driving an x534 and she has a lid on her tray, is that part of the bodywork the same through the jd range and only the bigger models have the lid???
thanx again guys
regards
kevin
