Hi do you have any photos and/or dimensions of the two engine pulleys? I need to know these since mine is missing these, the part numbers dont exist but I can likely get and MTD one if I know the dimensions. Basically the spacing between the two pulleys and the diameters. distance between the engine and top pulley is helpful too. more photos and measurments the better, much appreciated! Thanks

I don't think it's worth buying a pulley if you don't have one , I had 3 Victa ride on mowers that were missing the engine pulley
and when I priced just the pulley it would have been $50 to $80 , so in all cases I just bought a second hand ride on with the
pulley for $50 to $80 ,I've seen a few Victa ride on mowers for free.

A better idea would be to buy a cheap working ride on mower as all the ones I've repaired lately never made any profit from
them.they were sold for $250.

Cheers
Max.

Dead right there Max, I sold one last week for $50 and the bloke was mostly after the engine pulley. They are not worth fixing because you can end up spending a bucket of hours on them and often you struggle to just get your money back and nothing for the hours you spend on them

Yes no money to be made in them Norm and AVB.

There's a Ride On for sale now for less than $5. with a day to go.

Yes I saw that ride on for sale Norm and was surprised at it taking a few days to sell as years ago it wouldn't have
taken many hours to sell.

I had a 250 Quad bike for sale that ran but needed rings and was very cheap and all I got was offers for half
the asking price so I just removed the motor and sold that at the price I was asking for the complete bike and the
engine sold quickly.

In the USA ,I'd be collecting old Lawn Boy mowers as they seem to sell well on eBay but if I have a Masport mower here
with the lawn boy motor I would get $50.

Cheers
Max.

Hi Max and AVB,
Nothing is really worth repairing for resale these days, just buy something cheap and buy another next year.
Max that rideon was heading to the scrap but if somebody wants parts it is good value. The engine oil was clean, hadn't been changed, I think it had a valve problem that could have easily been fixed if somebody needed a motor. As you say, not worth my while fixing the motor when you get bugger all for them if you sell them

Yes definitely not worth fixing or buying parts when the mowers sell for virtually nothing.( fixing them is just just a hobby)

Cheers
Max.
