cancelled same night as paid The subscription is for five years and the subscription that was cancelled was the recuring one. It has been setup that way because members did not want a continual membership just one off.

I had exactly the same problem, Monday January 25th. 2021. I did the whole subscription thing, then subscription was cancelled. I can prove that you took my money no problem, it’s come out of my Visa account. Your vague explanation to hiab765 does nothing to assist anyone reading this that is unfamiliar with your site on what went wrong and how to fix it. Not all of us are tech freaks, some of us have difficulty with what may well be second nature to you guys. I like your site and would like to frequent it but don’t see why you’ve taken my money and then immediately cancelled my subscription? What happened?

Do you wish to keep paying all your live because we don't do that (you get a one off charge for 5 years). The email you got about the subscription is for the recuring one which has been cancelled, otherwise you will be charged again in five years.

G'day AVB
We have taken your advice.
This has come about because of legacy forum software. Bruce has reworded the notice to make it very clear that there is no auto-rebilling after 5 years.
Cheers & thanks ----------------------------- Jack

Hope that gets it done then.
I figured it was a result of a software issue. Programmers can make seemly harmless changes then affect other section of the software that they didn't test for. Here I use an Auto Manager software to run my business. It seems everytime I turn around program changes affect me. I have learn not to go ballistic but to report the problem to the programming group to see if they provide a patch.
I still constantly fighting inventory related issues but everytime I can get support that get it corrected for everyone that uses the software. It mainly because I am of the few that have so many SKU numbers on the system. I currently have about 830,000 part numbers on the system with all their associated information. Sure saves a lot time typing everything on every work order, purchase order, and Invoice. Since I have been using software for the last 6+ years I can not do without now.
Over the last few years that software has gotten very good but there is and will always be problems unforeseen. Some I can live with and others I can't.
