B&D helped change the public perception
of the domestic lawnmower - from a garden
machine to a household
appliance.
In any case it was a harbinger of things to come ... smaller plots and tiny lawns.
Even Victa engaged in the cheap, small lawnmower market
when they marketed the
Victa-Qualcasts[/b in the mid-1980s].

The Black & Decker Lawnrazor brings back old memories ,I still have one that's been unplugged since the eighties.
