Rough idling could be caused by fouled spark plug, wrong carby mixture setting, dirty air filter, blocked muffler spark arrestor screen or low compression. With 2 stroke motors i always remove the spark arrestor screen in the muffler, they seem to run better without them. Anyway give the carby a good clean & see how it runs then.
