ok thanks gmax thats great. i have fiddled around with the carby throttle leaver where it connects to the butterfly. i turned the screw to keep the butterfly a little open when you dont have the throttle on, and it idles. but i will dismantle the carby and check the fuel filter. the carby is starting to leak even worse now. and it idles fairly roughly but is that just because its small and not mounted onto a frame?
