You didn't opt for the automatic did you Bonnar_Bloke?
No, it's the 5 speed manual, as I never got the option to do that.
The way I bought it was by putting a $3000 proxy bid on it 7 years ago never expecting to get it and at the end of the day I got home to find an email saying congratulations on winning the 2001 Hilux. Back then it was a $7000 vehicle and I felt that after cleaning it up I could flip it for a tidy profit.
But I started using it and just haven't looked back and to this day I've still got my trusty super clean Hilux with the 3RZ engine that's now done well over 300,000 K's now and is my go anywhere vehicle while the Holden Wagon sits in the garage and gets used every now and again.
I've never needed a trailer again and as such I'm about to sell it and crib back some space in the back garden and save myself some unneeded rego that the Government gets every year for absolutely nothing. The other thing is that if one does a deal of sorts I can just say "we'll just put straight on the back of the ute" and seal the deal opposed to going home and diggin' out the trailer that's usually full of crap and by that time the seller has decided he can get more money elsewhere and the deal falls over.
Easy Peasy !
