As you know, I have one with hopeless throttle control, but it starts and stops and doesn't overrev when on max throttle. I'm happy enough with that not to dismantle, unless I decide to do your mod on it, which I may do.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
