Hello ODK History Lovers
We are lucky that some beautiful B&W studio images survive from John Boundy.
These were clearly authorised by the factory.

These images are now held by Museums Victoria and were taken between 1958 and 1960.
I guess they were bank-rolled by the Wiltshire File Company, who gained a substantial
financial interest in the Boundy Manufacturing Company in mid-1958 and bought the
remaining minority interests in late 1959.

At this time, John Boundy, the founder, general manager and director of Boundy
Manufacturing Company
resigned. Lawnmower making was now under Wiltshire control.

A big thank you to Museums Victoria for making these images available.
Image descriptors will follow in the next part; followed by a set of Gallery Images in Part three.
Museums Victoria is a great place to discover industrial history
