Thank you again. I had just about given up on replacing the hand-brake mechanism. despite carefully putting items together when deconstructing the mower I find all sorts of assorted pieces have rearranged themselves into random containers wile my back is turned. These pics give me a good clue how to put the brake back together.
Still confused, of course, as my park brake is a drum brake on the rear axel adjacent to the rear tyre.
