Yeah those axles are as much as I paid for the mower. The plan at the moment is to run a sprocket carrier from a go-kart with a 30mm axle by sleeving my axle which is 1" diameter. The B type top sprockets can be had in almost any configuration but may modify a go-kart engine sprocket to suit.

and this Pulled the axle today and will start working my magic on it tomorrow hopefully, Have sourced some used equipment from a kart racer on the cheap and should be fairly straight forward job
