So your saying your donor has the belt clutch? And is it 5hp or an 8hp out of curiosity? I'm curious because if it is it would appear the clutch design and the other changes probably happened when they consolidated the range with the tractors.
Once again, it appears we can see the evolution of Theo's design. It's logical that he'd have tried using the same type of clutching on his first vertical shaft machines as he did on the horizontal. It appears that after a short while, he came up with a better way - the belt clutch on the Tractors.
