The pulley that is bolted to the engine is seperated by a clutch and isnt 1 peice. The top half runs the wheels,and the lower half runs the blades. When you engage the cutting blades the bearing places pressure on the lower half of the pulley and engages the cutting blades. Im still having problems uploading pics from my phone, so any help there would be great, similar pulley arrangement to a hd-8 by the looks of things.
