Thanks for the info, will have to wait to check it out after xmas, have fitted new module all ready as high tension lead was perished and shorting out. will check it out as you say and let you know.
also have the original rover colt ride on owners manual which came with mower so if you wish to have a copy for the library let me know.its different to the one you sent me the link to,
