As Mick said, we need the engine's Model, Type and Code numbers which are stamped on the cooling cowl. From that we can identify the engine precisely. Aside from whatever is wrong with the engine, it seems you probably have wiring errors on the mower, so we need to identify the machine. Please post pictures of it.
