The edger is now spot on and not missing a beat.
I actually put the original exhaust back on after I sanded it back and added some heat paint. I initially used a spare but it appears the exhaust was causing the problem.
It now starts second pull and runs nice and smooth.
Does anybody know if the exhausts are specific to this type of model or where the two spares I tried just blocked!
