I am going to assume the two mufflers I tried where blocked because when I tidied up the original muffler the machine ran like a charm. It went off to a new home yesterday.
It was just a normal muffler. I could be wrong but I think my super 24 has one of the those high compression mufflers and the engine has a spacer between the head and the block.
I appreciate the assistance.
Funny thing my parents in law's picked up another egdger, same model for $5 bucks from the markets for me. Good score I thought. This one set me back $22 on ebay. $5 is even better!
